A Big Day Out!

Sunday 22nd June

This is a free event for people in and around Marlborough who might not normally get to join in the fun because of their age, a lack of mobility or isolation.

With support from Wiltshire Council, Marlborough Area Board, The Polly Tearooms, BFI and National Lottery.

Working with the Kennet & Avon Medical Practice’s TCOP team, and the lovely people behind the Free Annual Christmas Lunch at the Town Hall.

Marlborough Festival is inviting a group of guests for a Day Out. This event includes:

  • Transport to the Town Hall where necessary.

  • A fun activity session delivered by WASP (Wiltshire & Swindon Sport), called Senior Games/Love To Move. A tonic for the body and the brain!

  • Cream Tea, courtesy of the Polly Tearooms.

  • A BFI film Screening of Singin’ In The Rain.

  • There will also be a limited number of invites to the Priory Gardens events on Saturday 21st June.

If you know of an elderly/isolated person who might benefit, please contact us at info@marlboroughfestival.com

Limited spaces available.

The Senior Games Programme is a groundbreaking initiative endorsed by the British Gymnastics Foundation, designed to get the body and mind working, and to reduce/reverse cognitive decline.
